![]() ![]() Most of the things that happen have little to no bearing on the game as a whole, from cooking contest, limousine racing, to lacrosse, they are just there as events. Simply said, the whole story feels very episodic. After then it’s a fight for who will win Takeru’s love. ![]() Later that day his class gets a new transfer student who is coincidentally the same girl that slept next to him. Comedy ensues when his childhood friend comes to wake him up. This is one day interrupted when he wakes up and notices an unknown girl sleeping next to him. Every day is the same, his childhood friend wakes him up, they go to school and once he arrives he starts bickering with his classmates. The main protagonist is Takeru Shirogane a typical high school student wasting away his life playing Valger-On a mech arcade game. Probably the biggest issue with this game is its plot or lack of plot. Muv-Luv Alternative is the highest rated visual novel in the visual novel database. The third part released in 2006 is titled Muv-Luv Alternative and continues the plot where Muv-Luv Unlimited left off. Muv-Luv Unlimited is a radical departure from the original in both the plot and tone, but at the same time it brings up a lot of elements from the original. Unlimited is only available after you complete Muv-Luv Extra with both of the main heroines. The first game in the Muv-Luv series was released in 2003 and in fact contains two games, Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited. Even though it’s not really important to have played Kimi ga Nozomu Eien in order to enjoy the story of Muv-Luv, many of its characters remake an appearance in Muv-Luv. I hope you understand my stance with this comparison a little bit better. Before you begin playing Muv-Luv there are a few things you should know. ![]() It's as if I were watching some serious Hollywood movie (say Schindler's List) and the suddenly have a hardcore porn scene in it. But in a serious story with emotional attachment to the characters I don't want them to turn into fap objects. I actually have nothing against hentai on its own. ![]() Sry for being this blunt and in no way I want to attack people for liking eroge. The characters i came to love and respect become worthless sex objects and never recover from that stigma after that. When i play a VN i want to stimulate my mind, not my dick.īut every time a VN gets to a sex scene it ruins and degrades its characters beyond recognition for me. Not as fap service.īut all the VNs with eroge content I played use it as a cheap excuse to relate to the audiences lowest instincts. basically what it really is and how human beings relate to it. As a heavy manga reader I love works like Natsu no Zenjitsu (The Day before Summer) or any work by Inio Asano which depict sexuality in a realistic and sometimes ugly way, not glamorized. I don't have problems with depiction of sexuality in fictional works if it's done to explore social/psychological issues, interpersonal relationships or sexuality in general. I've said it again and again in other subs: ![]()
